Tara Jaye Frank is Vice President-Multicultural Strategy for Hallmark Cards, Inc. Tara leads the company’s multicultural center of excellence, whose work has inspired a more holistic approach to leveraging the nuance of culture as a foundational and innovative path to relevance.

Tara began her professional career as a greeting card writer in 1996. She was the youngest person in Hallmark’s history to be promoted into executive management and subsequently became its first African American female vice president.

 A keynote speaker, panelist and knowledge partner for organizations such as Working Mother Media, National Association for Female Executives and Network of Executive Women, Tara blogs about women in leadership and multiculturalism as a business driver.

 She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Spelman College, is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc., and lives in Dallas, Texas with her beloved husband, five of their six children, and two dogs.
